About John W. Hansen
John W. Hansen grew up in the Ogden area and attended Ogden City Schools. He served an L.D.S. mission to London, England, and enrolled in Brigham Young University upon his return. While at B.Y.U. he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Economics, and a Masters Degree in Educational Psychology. He became a teacher in the L.D.S. Church Educational System in the Ogden area.
In 1972, John began selling real estate as a part time agent. He left the teaching profession to pursue a full time career in real estate in 1977. He became the manager of a local real estate company where he had as many as 40 agents under his supervision. John activated his real estate broker's license in 1982, and started his own business. Today, his company,
John W. Hansen and Associated Real Estate, has more than 25 agents and staff.
John is a member of the
Greater Ogden Area Association of Realtors. During his real estate career, he has earned the Lifetime Sales Master Award, Commercial Salesman of the Year, and was presented the Salesman of the Year Award twice.
John is committed to serving his profession and community. In a letter to a prospective client, John wrote, "I love people. I love to sell real estate, and I am eager to serve you. I am not afraid of any kind of challenge and will work hard for you."
John, and his wife Anne, are the parents of six children. He likes to spend his spare time with his family watching and playing ball, boating, camping, fishing, and hunting. John and Anne especially enjoy their
four grandchildren.
